Dedalo

The greatest inventions in history and the most beautiful works of art in the world have something in common: they required the perfect combination of knowledge and creativity. Knowledge and technique on one side, intuition and genius on the other.

According to the legend, the king of Crete Minos decided to design a sophisticated labyrinth in which to lock up his stepson, the terrible Minotaur, forever. He asked for help to Daedalus, an architect and inventor known throughout Greece for his skills. At the end of the work, however, Daedalus was locked up in the labyrinth together with his son Icarus by the same Minos who did not want to run the risk someone would reveal the origin of his project. The genius Daedalus understood that the only way out of the Labyrinth was to escape by flying. Thus he built two pairs of wings of feathers and wax but his son, getting too close to the sun, melted his wings and fell.

Creativity and imagination: the bar globe was born this way, from the long experience of Italo Zoffoli who has been working wood for many years, and from an unexpected idea while sipping a glass of wine. Since that day, inspiration and knowledge have become the distinguishing feature of Zoffoli, who has decided to name one of his most beautiful globes by giving the name of the Greek hero.

Dedalo is a timeless globe, eternal like the human history. The classic version, with a replica of a 16th century cartography in warm brown tones, shows all the charm of the ancient and the mythological; for this reason it is perfect for classic style furnishings. Inside the sphere, extraordinary mythological representations overlook the internal decorations. The sphere rotates completely around its meridian, in both open and closed positions.

The internal compartment can hold up to 4 bottles and 12 glasses: ideal for enjoying a glass alone, letting your imagination run wild or for sharing your next project with friends and colleagues. Other bottles can be placed on the lower base, which is unique in its rectangular shape with detailed curvatures.
